Description

The Input widget allows the user to send a value (input) back from Commander to your device i.e send an on/off command or turn down the aircon temperature if a condition is met. The Input widget can write value strings back to your device or you can use it to update a static endpoint. Use endpoint linking to configure this widget with your device.

Properties

You can set the input label text that will display when a user sees the Input widget. Use this to prompt an action like Set temperature. You can also toggle the label off by unchecking the Label active checkbox.

Use Case

A user wants to change the aircon temperature in a room, this can be done by manually overriding the temperature using the Input widget.
