This is the release notes for the Edge Raptor™ software that is generally available. It details updates to Edge Raptor software since V3.0.0.413 (right after General Availability September 2021), up until V3.0.0.426 which has been general available since 21 October 2021. This does not indicate that any new deployments have been done; project deployments are handled separately per project and through correct change management and client approval.

Canbus sniffer migrated from out-dated Raptor 1000 to Raptor 3. This will simplify mining project integrations (or any integration with Canbus where the integration device’s protocol details are not fully known).

New Feature: Alarm Counter

A plugin which can interrogate any parameter already configured on the Raptor, specifically intended to count the amount of instance changes (so that the amount of oscillations of an alarm can be quantified).

New Feature: Delayed Alarm
V3.0.0.420
A “delayed alarm” is a soft alarm that has a configurable delay before reflecting changes off a parent alarm condition.
For example, an alarm should only be raised after a door is open for 30 seconds. The source alarm will be the door input which reflects in real-time and the delayed alarm only reflects 30 seconds after the door open event. If the door is closed within 30 seconds, no delayed alarm will be raised.
